Welcome to the Kifowit for Mayor blog. I have announced that I am running for Mayor in the City of Aurora. The City of Aurora is the second largest City in the State of Illinois. I am embracing a philosophy of Leadership that Listens. I pledge to listen to the residents of the City of Aurora. I will listen to your needs and listen to solutions. My goal as Mayor is to provide Leadership the Listens to the people. I make this promise that it will be the people of the City of Aurora that I serve. I will not be beholden to special interests or people who contribute to my campaign. Creating an honest and transparent government is important in our goal to create an efficient government in order to keep taxes as low as they can be and fees and charges at a reasonable level.
